Ruth Moore’s practice focuses on business litigation and appeals. She has litigated a wide variety of business disputes, including breach of contract, business tort, intellectual property, First Amendment, California anti-SLAPP, statutory preemption, consumer protection, and regulatory cases. She has extensive experience litigating cases with complex or sophisticated legal issues, both at the pretrial and appellate level.
Before joining Richards Carrington, Ruth was an attorney at the multinational law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP (Los Angeles) and at the Rocky Mountains oil and gas law firm Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. (Denver). Ruth received her Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law in 2001. At Columbia, she served as the Articles Editor and a Staff Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and as a judicial extern to a federal magistrate judge. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in 1998.
